John A. Martindale

For almost 17 years, John Martindale has been helping people with financial, retirement, estate, and investment planning strategies. His strong background in finance and especially his experience at Dunham & Associates in real estate transaction, investment/portfolio analysis, tax planning, and risk management stand him in good stead to advise MSSG as a board member.
Although Mr. Martindale became involved with MSSG and their annual Mountain Shadows Golf Classic through the philanthropic community involvement of Dunham & Associates, his personal knowledge of disabilities resulted from his care and aid to his mother over her lifetime. Once he visited Mountain Shadows Community Homes, he felt that the organization fostered opportunities for the residents to develop and show their talents.
Because he knew that in larger charitable organization the local community, resident families, and friends could not make a material impact on the quality of life, he chose to work with MSSG to help develop an annual golf tournament as a fundraising event. Mr. Martindale co-founded the golf tournament, and operating from his successful organizational “blueprint”, this annual event has raised over $100,000, in total, to aid in enriching the lives of the residents.
