With her appointment to the MSSG Board of Directors, Ms. Pratt’s professional life has come full circle. She began her career at Mountain Shadows 18 years ago. During her tenure, from 1986 to 1996, she established MSCC’s overall Human Resources infrastructure from the ground up and spearheaded all day-to-day HR operations. Today, as Board Member and Chair of the Personnel Committee, her in-depth knowledge of Mountain Shadows business strategies, industry trends and staffing needs will be invaluable as MSSG strives to continuously enhance management and employment practices.
Ms. Pratt’s broad-based experience includes expertise in Compensation and Performance Management, Training and Development, Strategic Staffing, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration and Recruiting.
Following her employment at MSCC, Ms. Pratt held several key positions at locally and globally recognized companies, including Senior Manager of Human Resources at Qualcomm, Inc. – Ericsson, Inc., a world leader in the wireless communications industry, and Director of Human Resources at Sorrento Networks, a company specializing in the development of optical networking solutions. She also provided HR consulting services to Innovase, LLC, a joint venture between Diversa Corp and Dow Chemical, and several other businesses.
She currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at Tritech Software Systems, an award winning developer of 911/public safety software solutions. Tritech was recently inducted into Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500″ as one of America’s 500 fastest growing private companies and was selected by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego’s top 200 high tech companies for 1998.
For the past three years, Ms. Pratt has served as a Board Member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The Foundation is the largest wish-granting charity in the world with 76 chapters across the U.S. and 27 international affiliates.
